What's Good Coffee?

Why does Beans to Buds offer whole and ground beans?

WHOLE BEAN

Our whole beans are roasted to perfection and then we use our proprietary infusion process. The beans are best when you grind them yourself as needed or with a touch of a button from our Profit Center machines. This way, you will ensure that they won’t lose their flavor and aroma before you consume them. Naturally, you should also make sure that you store your beans properly in order to preserve their freshness and flavor for as long as possible.

If you are grinding your beans at home we suggest a courser grind for optimal extraction of the Hemp Extract during the brewing process. Our Profit Center machines will be already set to the ideal grind settings.

GROUND COFFEES

Our ground specialty coffees are ground and then we add additional ingredients depending on our proprietary recipes. Besides Hemp protein, we may add a verity of ingredients to achieve the desired product. To give you an idea you may find some of these: MCT Oil, Turmeric, Cinnamon, Garcinia Cambogia , Green Coffee Extract, just to name a few.

It's all about the GRIND!

If you are grinding Beans to Buds whole beans at home, we suggest a courser grind for optimal extraction of the Hemp Extract during the brewing process.

For your reference in this picture, we would call this a Medium Coarse Grind.

Find your GRIND!

The correct extraction of coffee is determined by how long the water is in contact with the coffee. This is determined by the size of the ground coffee particles going from Extra Fine to Coarse. A correctly extracted cup of coffee will taste sweet and delicious. Under extracted coffee will taste salty or sour and over-extracted coffee will taste bitter or burnt. By tweaking the grind and tasting your coffee you should be able to ‘dial in’ your grinder to produce what you consider a great tasting coffee.

In this example we would recommend Medium Coarse to start with, then adjust to taste.
